Mizori's Stories

Hopelessly addicted

8/20/08 10:58 pm - High school never ends

oh mein gott!
I hate freaking college! Its really irritating.
Story:College kids act no better than high school kids. ( Psh, which is why the song is called high school never ends.)
But I've been going to college only two days and I'm irritated.
My high school said that I've already taken all my high school classes. So they have nothing for me. So I'm just taking concert chorus. (Just I am a school choir nerd and proud of it.) And English.
I mean goodness. They say they need teachers. I go to be a Teacher, and I get all this bull crap along the way.
(Das ist schrecklich, ja?)
ugh. NC sucks. Majorly.
anyway... I'm trying to learn how to translate Reden by Th. I'll be done by the end of September.
BTW, Saku, what lesson are you on in livemocha?

6/19/08 03:36 pm - Queens of Sports

(Hello. I'm some what new to live journal and thought that I should post my stories here. I love when people review/comment on my stories, so lets do that, shall we?)

Queens of sports

Prologue

Akuta high school is legendary. Not only for its attractive students and academic honors, but also for its Sports department. The sports department has been the reigning champions in all fields for the past 3 years. But what is the reason for that. Some believe that its because the team members take steroids. Other believe that its because the rigorous training schedule that all the teams are required to fulfill at all times during the school year. But the truth is that this school holds a secret that is so obvious that many over look it.  The school’s Sports department doesn’t have one single female member on their teams.

Well that can be fixed by a simple law suit, right? Wrong. Many have tried that, but the situation was simply covered up by the schools influence and money. And it wasn’t exactly like the school prohibited females from trying out for the sports or from even making them team. No it was in fact the opposite. It encouraged the females to try out for their teams. It was the students- those who believed that the females would only break the winning steak that the school has had. The teens would bully and/or harass those who dared try out for the teams. And those who happen to make the teams received the worse of the treatment.  There has been occasions where the female members were forced to shower with the males and change at the same time as the males.  Some even suffered a fate that they were too embarrassed to speak of.

How do I know these things? Well because I was one of those females who tried out for the team. Yes, I could tell you all about the secrets of Osaka’s Sports department. Even one that no one else knows about…

“Kari!” Shouted an awkward male voice. It came  from a teenage young man. His short black hair was spiked, held in place by a gray bandana that covered a large part of his forehead and hairline. He was a medium height young man around 165 cm tall.  He was thin but his muscular figure was hidden behind his over-sized tee shirt and baggy gray cotton sweatpants. This young man was known as Rhythm Mauve. He’s the newest member of the Osaka’s soccer team. He transferred to Osaka about 3 weeks ago. Because of his smiling and welcoming features, He was almost instantly popular among the girls. Because of his weird and hyper attitude, he was adopted as the ‘cute little brother’ among the guys. “Hurry up, Kari! We’ll miss the sports sale If you don’t~!” The teen whined.

“I’m comin’! Just wait a dag burn minute!” Shouted another male teenager. Kari Roberts was attractive to say the least. His short brown bangs has been swept out of his eyes.  He wiped his brow with the sleeve of his white karate gi. Perhaps Kari was just as popular as Rhythm with everyone. His height of 175 cm and his thin but muscular tone, gave reason why females chased him. It was rumored that when he was younger that he was in a bad accident which was why he never changed with any of the guys and wore bandages around his back. Hikaru joined the karate club only 1 week ago.  And now was already named the most valuable member, second only to the club’s captain. Like Rhythm, Kari was a transfer student but had transferred around 5 weeks ago. Unlike Rhythm, he didn’t show his emotions or thoughts to just anyone.. It was that aspect of him that  won him the label of cool and spicy Prince. Not many people could muster up the courage to talk to him. But that didn’t mean that he wasn’t often bothered or harassed by the females and males that liked him.

“If you’re in such a hurry, Rhythm, then…” One young man started.

“Why don’t you just go ahead of us.” another young man finished. Often referred to as double play, these two young men were the newest two transfer student- the Mauve Twins. Yes, both young men were the older brothers of Rhythm.  Both young men had shoulder length black hair. One had his hair swept under a cat-like hat, with only a few strains of his hair peeping out by his soft brown eyes.  This young man was the younger twin- Mystery Mauve. He was a rather tall young man with a height of 176 cm. He immediately joined the basketball team as soon as he entered the school. When asked, he said that he came to Osaka High to join the basketball team. Perhaps that is the reason why he was so respected and liked by his team mates.

The other twin had his hair pulled back into a small ponytail. This allowed full view of his complex brown eyes. Seeming to never be without a smile, Chase Mauve easily captured the hearts of the females at the school. Because he is polite to ever and anyone, he grew to be popular within the day that he transferred. And because of his athletic skill he was scouted by the teams track and field team, He’s now the school’s best long distance runner. Unlike his twin, he is a bit shorter, standing at 176 cm. Perhaps one of the easiest ways to tell the twins apart was their height. But it was the lack in height that allowed him to have the agility to run as fast as he does.  “We can meet up at the store in a half hour. That gives Kari enough time to change.”

Mystery smiled and nodded. “We’ll meet you there.” He  turned and started out the door. Before he even got to the door, Rhythm pushed his brother before racing out the door.  “Hey!” and with that a game of street tag was started.

Chase looked at his brothers and smiled, waving farewell to his friend before chasing his brothers. Kari smiled, watching the young men before returning to packing his cloths into his gym bag. He sighed, taking the belt from around his waist.

“Did you use the training hall at your old school for your own personal hang out?”

Kari turned, looking over his shoulder at the other. When he recognized who the other was, he  dropped his guard. “Hello Yamada-senpai.”  He dropped his arms to his side, giving him a formal bow before returning to his task.

“Are you going to answer me?” He asked. As normal, John Yamada’s voice was laced in a thick layer of ice. His eyes were darker and colder than the artic. Yet he stood with such pride and elegance that was becoming of a Japanese Prince. It seemed that his cool and cruel attitude was only shown towards Kari.  When ever he was confronted by others, he was polite and nice. Around his friends, he seemed full of joy and youth. But then it came to Kari, he was cruel, cold and some times just plan rude.

Knowing that answering the question would only bring more ridicule and rudeness from the upper classmate, Kari quickly finished packing. Once finished, he started out the door. “Have a good day, Yamada-kun.” and with that, he  sprinted to catch up with his friends.  He ran until he could no longer see the training hall. Sighing, he adjusted the strap of his gym bag. “Geez, what’s his problem?”  He looked over her shoulder in the direction of the training hall. Whatever was wrong with Yamada, it had nothing to do with him. ‘I’ll just head over to the mall. If I hurry, I might be able to make Mystery buy me lunch.’ He thought.

~ an Half hour later at a near by restaurant~

“Why am I always stuck feeding you?” Mystery complained, as the ice creams were set on the table in front of each girl.

“You don’t have to feed me.” Kari replied taking a spoonful of the desert. “But if you want the picture, you’ll feed me.” He smiled brightly.

“Black mail!” Mystery cried. “You promised me that picture!”

“What Picture?” Rhythm queried, taking a bite of her empanada.

“Anime picture. Apparently, Hikari has a picture of Inutaka that Mizori wants.” Chase explained.

“Hey! Don’t use our real names when we’re dressed like this.” Kari whispered harshly, leaning in over the table. “What if one of our classmates were to just walk in and over hear you?!”

“Don’t worry. Stuff like that only happen in manga.” Mystery commented, taking a sip of her drink.

“I have a question.” Rhythm raised her hand and waved it like an eager child wanting to answer a question.

“Yes. Riaa?” Hikaru called her.

“Since we were rejected as  females and each one of us made the team as males, shouldn’t we bring up charges now. We have proof.”

“Why? So the school can pay off the reporters to keep it hush hush?” Mystery snorted. Crossing his arms, He leaned back in the seat, with a  look of displeasure  darkening his features.  “Mom tried that when they refused to let Celly on the team even though she was faster than any other guy. They just gave the reports a small fee and no one found out about it. Without the mass Media, we have nothing.”

“Is the Mass media that important? I mean all that matters is the judge’s order.”

Hikaru and Mystery looked at the young soccer star. “Yes it matters. Especially since the school allows girls to try out and even be on the team. But we all know why we couldn’t have been on the team for very long.” Hikaru finished off his ice cream before explaining further. “Our classmates just happen to believe that allowing a girl on the team would mess up the lucky streak that the school has. So they do things to us until we quit.”

“That’s why we’re on the team as boys.” Riaa commented taking another bite of her Spanish desert. “But since we have enough proof now, we can bring up a law suit against the school now.”

“…You don’t listen.” Hikaru groaned. He rested the back of his head against the rise of the chair. Suddenly his eyes widened in realization. “I’ve got it!” Sitting up, he smiled at the other males at the table. “We’re on the teams. And possibly the best players. All we need to do is take our teams to nationals. That’s enough.”

“…Alright Hikaru’s gone crazy. I name myself the main character of this manga.” Mystery said.

Hikaru shook his head. “Listen…We need the media to pay us attention. Now if we were to lead our team to nationals, we’d have enough publicity. And with that, the school wouldn’t want to keep the star players in the shadows. Our school is so arrogant that they’d parade us. And During that parade, we’ll show the secret of Osaka High school.”

“…This seems like a bad idea. What would happen to us if they found out that we are girls before the nationals?”

“Expulsion.” Chase answered his twin’s question.

Rhythm looked at his brother and shook his head. “Count me out!”

“Look, if we can make it to nationals, and then reveal that we’re girls, then the media would be all over it. Society would watch the school closely. And they would have to rebuild the sports department. And wouldn’t expulsion be worth it for the future females of Osaka to be able to participate in sports.”

“It’d be easier just to file a law suit now.”

“Well we might as well try it.” Chase replied.

“So we’re crossing until Nationals?”

“Until fall.”

“So it’s agreed.” Hikaru replied happily. “We’re Chase, Mystery, and Rhythm until the fall. And come spring, the Sports department should be equal.”

So have you figured it out? The secret of Osaka High, something so sneaky that not even the sports team knows of? Yes. These four girls have infiltrated the department, dressed as guys. I wonder what kind of adventures they will encounter while under cover.
